• When you contact Hola Nannies to book a nanny/babysitter you will need to provide us with your needs and expectations as well as your details as contact number and address.
• Hola Nannies charges $120.00 upfront fee (no obligation) on the request for the carer (non refundable).
• Once the upfront fee has been paid, you have contracted Hola Nannies services and you agree these terms and conditions.
• The 100% of the placement fee must be paid when the family accepts the candidate.
• Hola Nannies will refund 70% of the placement fee ONLY if the nanny decides not to go ahead before the position starts or if the nanny finishes the employment agreement within the first 6 weeks after starting the position. ***The refund does not apply if the nanny has terminated the agreement due to change of work conditions, change of hours and/or location or has been mistreated in any way.
• If the total amount of the placement fee has been paid and the family decides not to go ahead Hola Nannies won’t refund any amount. This will be used as a cancellation fee.
• Fees are payable to Hola Nannies by Electronic Transfer and an invoice will be provided.
• Families employ the nanny directly. As the employer you are responsible to register for taxation purposes and to deduct taxation from payments made to the nanny.
• Hola Nannies is a referral agency. Hola Nannies is not responsible for any and all payment of superannuation, taxation, insurance and other responsibilities for the carer. Depending on the type of arrangement you or the carer may be responsible for any and all payment of superannuation, taxation, insurance, and other responsibilities that arise as part of the relationship between you and the carer. You are responsible to pay the carer, taxes, superannuation and workers compensation. You indemnify us against any such superannuation, taxation, fees, charges and any other imposts.
• You are responsible for checking that the carer holds and maintains the appropriate visa to work in Australia. Hola Nannies check this matter when introducing a nanny to you, but we are not responsible or liable for checking this on an ongoing basis if you employ the nanny.
• In case of a dispute that can’t be solved between you and the carer within the first 8 weeks Hola Nannies will try to provide a replacement for you without any fee, however, Hola Nannies is not obligated. Placement fees are not refundable.
• Families are not to contact any of the candidates directly under any circumstance. Should this obligation be ignored, Hola Nannies reserves the right to cancel the placement.
• Hola Nannies reserves the right to cancel immediately any services if the nanny or babysitter has been mistreated, is working in an unsafe environment, or is harmed in anyway.
• Although Hola Nannies has high expectations of our nannies and we aim to provide you with excellent nannies, there is still no complete guarantee of reliability, honesty, and character of the candidates introduced by the agency. If the family has any concerns, please contact Hola Nannies immediately.

Casual Bookings

• Families can’t book a casual babysitter/ nanny with any of them directly.
• Nanny service is provided only when the total amount of the booking fee(s) is/are paid.
• Hola Nannies will confirm any casual booking once the payment confirmation is provided.
• A minimum of three hour booking is required.
• Booking Fees are not refundable.
• You are responsible to pay the nanny the agreed hourly rate to the carer directly at the end of the booking.
• Once the booking is confirmed, the carer will get in touch with you by a text message or phone call.
• If any booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the start time you are liable to pay the carer 2 hours of the agreed hourly rate as a cancellation fee. You need to agree with the career directly how the cancellation fee will be paid. Hola Nannies is not responsible for paying the cancellation fee.
• Hola Nannies is a referral agency. Hola Nannies is not responsible for any and all payment of superannuation, taxation, insurance and other responsibilities for the carer. Hola Nannies is not responsible for any damages that the nanny may cause in the household as families are employing nannies/babysitters directly. you are responsible to pay the carer, taxes, superannuation (if applicable) and workers compensation. You indemnify us against any such superannuation, taxes, fees, charges and any other imposts.
• Once the booking fee is paid you agree and accept these terms and conditions.
• Our term and conditions may be changed without notice.
